Share & export a seating chart
Compare a printed plan, a snapshot, and an online event page.
Import a guest list
Up to 500 guests. Name and Table columns; blank tables stay unassigned. Import replaces this list. Files are read in your browser.
Names and table assignments stay in this browser tab. Download a draft to keep a copy.
Print your guest list as text, or choose Save as PDF. Select matching paper, 100% scale, and turn off headers and footers. For a room-layout export or app-import snapshot, use Seat Maker’s app. Available formats depend on your plan.
Add guests and fill in every name before printing.
Draft stays in this tab for 24 hours.

Should you share a PDF or an online seating plan?
A PDF is a fixed document for printing or handing to a venue. An imported snapshot is a separate copy in Seat Maker. A published event page shows the host’s published content online. These formats update differently, so choose the one that suits the recipient.
Editing the source does not update a previously exported PDF or an imported snapshot. Online pages change when the host publishes updated content.
Can I print my plan?
Yes. Import your names and tables, print your plan, and check the browser’s paper and scale settings.
Does opening the preview share anything?
No. Real sharing, publication, and account plan checks happen in the signed-in workflow.
