These terms apply to Seat Maker's website and connected services, provided by Austin Frankel. By using these services, you agree to these terms. Seat Maker helps you create, save, export, and share seating plans.
Review and sharing responsibilities
You are responsible for the event content and guest details you provide, your authority to use them, and the recipients you share them with. Review published pages, invitations, RSVP information, and exported files before distributing them. Keep a copy of important plans. Venue information can change; confirm capacity, pricing, availability, and terms directly with the venue.
Assistant guidance
Assistant responses can be incomplete or incorrect. Review proposed guest and table changes before applying them, and confirm event arrangements yourself. AI actions require supported Apple Intelligence devices and enabled Apple Intelligence; availability varies by device, app version, and plan. Product analytics, website replay, and support-message processing are described in our Privacy & Data Usage policy.
App Store License
The Seat Maker app distributed through Apple's App Store is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. That agreement governs the app license. These website terms do not replace it.
Your Account and Seating Plans
Keep your sign-in details secure and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You retain ownership of the content you add. You give Seat Maker permission to process, store, sync, display, and share that content as needed to provide the features you use. Only add guest details, contacts, images, or other material you are authorized to use.
Review your seating plan before using or distributing it. Public sharing links let people with the link view the shared plan, so consider the guest information you include. Keep an exported copy of plans you need for your event.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Some features require payment. The purchase screen shows the price, currency, access period, and any trial or renewal terms before you confirm. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through the provider you purchased from. One-time purchases do not renew.
Manage App Store subscriptions in your Apple account settings. For a web subscription, use the billing management link provided after checkout or contact support. Deleting Seat Maker or your account does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles App Store payment and refund requests; contact us about a web purchase.
Acceptable Use and Availability
Do not use Seat Maker for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, to access another person's account without permission, or to disrupt or abuse the service. We may restrict access that violates these terms or threatens the service's security. Features may change, and online services can be interrupted for maintenance or repairs.
Privacy, Deletion, and Support
Our Privacy & Data Usage policy explains how we use account, product, and advertising measurement data. You can request account deletion or removal of specific data. The in-app Delete All Data action clears planning data and signs you out; the separate account-deletion request removes the account after identity verification. This update applies to the app, website, and connected event and partner services. It supplements the sections above.
Browser Assistant
Browser AI is optional and free to use without an AI subscription or API key. Enabling it downloads model files and requires a compatible browser, graphics support, available memory, storage, and an initial internet connection. Your network or device provider may charge for data. The browser model differs from Apple鈥檚 native model. Availability and response quality vary; the basic guide remains available when AI cannot load. The website assistant provides guidance and does not automatically read your native plans, change seats, publish pages, send invitations, make purchases, cancel subscriptions, issue refunds, or grant paid access. Verify suggestions before acting, especially guest constraints, accessibility needs, capacity, pricing, venue information, and event arrangements. The model and runtime remain subject to their respective open-source licenses.
Event content, invitations, and collaborator access
You retain ownership of your event and guest content and are responsible for obtaining the permissions needed to import, store, share, publish, or send it. Do not send unsolicited invitations or use guest information unlawfully. Review recipient details, dietary notes, RSVP questions, photos, card designs, personalized links, QR codes, and exports before distribution. Previewing or saving does not itself send an invitation or publish an event. Delivery, opens, clicks, reminders, synchronization, and RSVP responses are not guaranteed. Online functions need internet, and changes made offline may need reconciliation. Partners must use only workspaces and content they are authorized to access. Administrators may change sponsored access according to the organization鈥檚 arrangements; that does not cancel an independent Apple or web subscription. Keep copies of important plans and confirm venue arrangements directly.
Offers, purchases, and changes
Paywall offers and experiments can differ by user, platform, eligibility, or time. An optional offer may appear after you decline a paywall or a purchase fails; it is not a charge and grants no access unless a purchase completes. Closing an offer does not make a purchase. The actual checkout terms govern the price, trial, billing interval, and access you accept. Cancel a trial or renewing subscription with the provider before its stated renewal deadline if you do not want to renew. Restoring an eligible purchase restores the access that purchase provides; it does not create a refund or change its billing terms. We may update these terms and identify the review date. Changes do not override mandatory consumer rights or the provider鈥檚 purchase terms.
Service limitations and your legal rights
Seat Maker assists planning; it does not guarantee an optimal seating arrangement, uninterrupted online access, invitation delivery, or the accuracy of AI or third-party venue information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, online services and guidance are supplied as available, and we are not responsible for event decisions, recipient redistribution, or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or replaces Apple鈥檚 Standard End User License Agreement.
