How do you shuffle a seating chart with fixed seats?
Lock the guests who need particular seats, then shuffle the remaining assignments. The locked guests stay in the same seats. Review the result and undo if needed. A random shuffle does not apply relationship rules or optimize your event.
Import your guests, lock the seats that should stay fixed, and shuffle the rest. Undo restores the previous assignment.
What happens when every seat is locked?
Nothing moves. Unlock a seat before trying another arrangement.
Can a guest appear twice?
No. Each guest can occupy only one seat.
